The Sustainable Seafood fact sheets have been produced to provide information for people interested in learning more about fisheries management in New Zealand. The series provides concise, up-to-date information on some of New Zealand’s most important fisheries, such as hoki and orange roughy. This series also explains how the Ministry of Fisheries manages certain high priority fisheries management issues, such as protecting the seabed from the impacts of bottom trawling.
