This database is arranged as a set of six main tables containing
survey data, and three other tables describing the various codes that
are used.
The following is a listing and brief outline of the tables
contained within oyster:
t_survey : contains descriptions
of the various Foveaux Strait oyster surveys undertaken and a
numeric code to identify each survey.
t_vessel : contains vessel
registration codes and vessel names.
t_stratum: contains oyster survey
stratum codes, descriptions and areas.
t_station : contains station
details including date, position, distance dredged, and depth, as
well as catches of oysters by size class and levels of infection by
Bonamia sp.
t_biological : Table of

tables before being inserted. The following is a summary list of
these master code tables:
t_treatment_codes : contains codes
and descriptions of the different ways in which the oysters are
treated (fishing methods) at harvesting.
t_damage_codes : contains codes

t_cluster_codes : contains codes
and descriptions for the various types of clusters ranging from a
single takeable oyster to a cluster of multiple generations of
oysters around a single nucleus.
