Biodiversity Tender Round 1 2007

MFish is inviting tenders for the “Chatham-Challenger Oceans 20/20 Post-Voyage Analyses”.

This is a three year science project to analyse research material from the Challenger Plateau and Chatham Rise collected during three voyages by R.V. Tangaroa in 2006/07.

The first voyage mapped the sea-bed along pre-determined transects in depths of 200–1200m in each area using an EM300 hull-mounted multibeam sonar system. The second and third voyages primarily collected video and still photographs and biological samples from specific locations along transects already mapped in Voyage 1.
