Research Opportunities
MFish regularly purchases research in a number of areas to help us with the effective management of New Zealand's fisheries.
Fisheries Research projects are usually tendered in one of four predetermined tender rounds each year. Marine Biodiversity Research is contracted on an 'as and when needed' basis. Customary Research is not usually allocated by a competitive tendering process, rather via a call for proposals.
