The second National Meeting of Regional Recreational Fishing Forums took place in Auckland in November 2008.This year’s meeting was held in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour. The meeting was held over two consecutive days (Wed Nov 19th and Thurs Nov 20th) and comprised two representatives from each of the seven regional Recreational Fishing Forums as well as two members of the Amateur Fishing Ministerial Advisory Committee.The intent of the National Recreational Meeting is to improve the recreational sector’s participation in fisheries management issues.
