Meeting Notes: North Island-South East Regional Recreational Forum Saturday 9 June 2007, Napier

Meeting chair, Paul Creswell (MFish) opened the meeting at 9.00 pm and welcomed members. Paul welcomed Leigh Mitchell and her new East Coast Inshore Team, and Ray McKay and Craig Petherick to the forum.

Paul Creswell (MFish) confirmed the two main agenda items. These were for forum members to meet with the new East Coast Inshore Team to inform them about their local fisheries and to meet with members of the Napier Fisheries Compliance team to discuss local compliance issues.

Other items on the agenda included the MFish Update Newsletter, Danish seining in Hawke’s Bay, häpuka weights, and a national recreational fishing forum.
