Kaipara Harbour closed for taking scallops.
The area below does not open on 1 September 2009 when the scallop season starts in the Auckland and Kermadec fishing area
- Kaipara Harbour means that area of the New Zealand fisheries waters that lies within Kaipara Harbour, the entrance to which is defined by a straight line drawn from the southernmost extremity of North Head (at 36°23.81′S and 174°03.92′E) to South Head (at 36°28.06′S and 174°09.73′E).
- To avoid doubt, the geographical co-ordinates in subclause (1) are in terms of WGS84 datum.
