Our mission and strategy is explained in the publications in this section. They include our statements of intent and annual reports, consultation and decision documents we publish as part of the process to decide what fisheries services and research will be done, and briefing papers for the Minister of Fisheries.
Each year we present a report to Parliament that details our position at the end of the financial year. It also includes information about our work and plans for the future.

This briefing provides an overview of the fisheries sector and the key issues likely to come before the Minister of Fisheries over the next three years. It details the contribution of the Ministry of Fisheries to the Government's role in the fisheries sector, and its marine biosecurity responsibilities.
