Acting Chief Executive for MFish

Stan Crothers, Deputy Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries, has agreed to act as Chief Executive until a permanent appointment is made.

Mr Crothers has worked in the Ministry for over 30 years and has international, policy, regulatory, compliance and machinery of government expertise. He has held a number of senior management positions and leadership roles within the Ministry.

He will take over from Dr John Glaister, who is returning to Australia for personal reasons.
