2003 SCALLOP FISHING SEASON OPENS TUESDAY 15 JULY

The recreational scallop fishing season opens on Tuesday 15 July for most New Zealanders.
The season begins on Tuesday July 15 and runs until 14 February 2004 for all but the Southland Fishery Management Area, where the season runs from 1 October to 15 March inclusive.
The scallop recreational daily bag limit varies throughout the five Fishery Management Areas in New Zealand:
