Reminder Of Recreational Fishing Submission Deadline Extension

The public is reminded of the extension to the deadline for submissions on the future management of recreational fishing.

The original deadline of today (30 November) has now been extended to 20 December to give the public more time to prepare submissions.

Joint Chair of the Joint Working Party on recreational fishing, Stan Crothers, said 703 submissions had been received so far.

Mr Crothers says after 20 December all submissions will be properly analysed, leading to a report back to Cabinet early next year, and those who made submissions will receive a summary of the submissions analysis.
