Mataura River Mataitai - Proposed Bylaws

Pursuant to regulation 25(5) of the Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998, notice is given that the Tangata Tiaki/Kaitiaki responsible for the Mataura Mätaitai Reserve have deposited bylaws under subclause (4) for the sustainable management of fish in that mataitai reserve.

A copy of the proposed bylaws may be inspected from 2 February to 23 February 2009 during normal office hours at:
