Consultation on Marine Protected Areas around the sub Antarctic Islands

Implementing the Marine Protected Areas Policy (MPA Policy) is a joint MFish and DoC initiative. As part of the implementation process, a planning Forum has proposed options for establishing marine protected areas in the Territorial Seas around New Zealand's sub Antarctic Islands.
 
The Forum is seeking public comment on the proposed options by 31 July 2009.
