The Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture recently made decisions on sustainability measures and management controls for deepwater species for the 2011/2012 fishing year. The error does not affect the Minister’s decisions on the TAC or other allowances but incorrectly stated the sub-QMA catch limits for ORH2A North and South. The information contained in the Minister’s decision letter is correct and the Minister has reconfirmed the catch split in ORH2A in the attached corrected paper.
