The Minister of Fisheries has decided to introduce bladder kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera) in its attached state in Fisheries Management Areas (FMAs) 3 and 4 into the Quota Management System (QMS) on 1 October 2010. A Final Advice Paper was provided to the Minister in September 2009, and he has now made his decisions, which are contained in the attached FAP and decision letter.
