New Zealand has submitted its bottom fishery impact assessment to the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO) interim Secretariat for review by the interim Scientific Working Group. This document constitutes the New Zealand Bottom Fishery Impact Assessment as required by the SPRFMO interim measures. It was prepared in accordance with the guidelines provided in the SPRFMO Benthic Assessment Framework. The assessment covers all New Zealand high seas bottom fishing activities within the SPRFMO Area in the period from 1 January 2008 to 31 December 2009.
