Akaroa Taiapure - Proposed Regulations
The Akaroa Taiapure Management Committee proposes to recommend to the Minister of Fisheries the making of regulations relating to recreational fishing in the Akaroa Harbour Taiapure Local Fishery. Submissions are due by 9 June 2008.


IPP - Seabird Mitigation Measures for Trawl and Longline Vessels
MFish proposes to amend Regulation 58 of the Fisheries (Commercial Fishing) Regulations 2001 to empower the Chief Executive of MFish to promulgate seabird mitigation measures by circular. These measures would replace the mitigation measures that have been notified in the NZ Gazette. All written submissions must be received by MFish by Thursday, 5 June 2008.
