Revisions to landed state definitions
The Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Notice 2005 is effective from 1 January 2006. Revised principal landed state definitions have been introduced for the 2005-06 fishing year. The definitions are supplemented by the inclusion of illustrations in a schedule to the Notice.

Changes to Conversion Factors for 01 April 2007
The following changes to conversion factors will take effect from 1 April 2007:
1. A conversion factor of 2.15 for dressed smooth oreos is introduced;
2. A conversion factor of 2.35 or dressed black, spiky and warty oreos is introduced;
3. A conversion factor of 2.65 for rays in the wings state is introduced.

Changes to Conversion Factors for the 2005-06 Fishing Year
The following changes to conversion factors for the 2005-06 fishing year have been approved:
- The introduction of a new "headed, gutted and tailed" state for hake with a CF of 1.60.
- The CF for dressed orange roughy has been increased from 2.00 to 2.10.
The above changes took effect on 1 January 2006.
